“I work with eleven store managers and their teams and our mission is to deliver great standards, great service and fantastic business results.
“There’s probably no such thing as a typical day. It’s a combination of store visits, where I work closely with the store manager to resolve any issues and to drive the business forward. I’ll also spend time in store with the front-line colleagues finding out how they’re getting on.
“Iceland’s a fantastic company. We’ve got a really informal, relaxed culture. We work hard and we’re very clear on what we need to achieve but we do that in a really nice almost family-like way. “
