Our Head Office in Deeside, North Wales, is informal, open plan and friendly. We also enjoy free parking, a fantastic subsidised staff restaurant, a Conservatory area for informal meetings, our own on-site store and a discounted Johnsons the Cleaners dry cleaning service.

Around 500 of us work here and we’re all energetic and enthusiastic with a positive attitude.

Working hard to drive leadership styles towards an open culture that focuses on getting results through our people, every month we hold a Stand-Up Show to learn how we’re doing as a company and hear what other departments and stores are up to. Open to anyone within Iceland, it’s also a forum to recognise and reward outstanding performers.

We have a quarterly ’Talking Shop’ too, with elected representatives from each department putting direct questions to Malcolm Walker and other senior executives and providing them with honest feedback. (Well we did say we were open, didn’t we!)

To this end, our annual staff survey also goes a long way to continually improving Iceland’s culture and work environment.
